From time to time, the Joomla community is rocked by cleverly studied marketing operations devised to reap some quick profit out of hype, fads and misinformation. I don't know how about you, but personally I don't like to be fooled. The bottom line is to confirm through first hand experience that deeds are not worth the fancy layouts used to promote them.

Portfolio update overdue

We have been dead busy in the past months building portals and setting up servers. This sudden increase in our workload has made it impossible to update the Portfolio as often as we would want to.

Many projects have been deployed since May 2008 and we plan to add them shortly, therefore stay tuned. We ain't dead yet, on the contrary. The business itself has grown far beyond our best expectations back in mid 2006, when Efiplus was formally established as the IT frontline of Efisaúde SL.

Agata will swirl her magic wand pretty soon.

We have been testing several virtual dedicated hosting schemes since mid 2007 and the time has come to start offering them as full blown commercial products to an increasing audience of shared hosting fuggees who are totally unsatisfied with having to deal with permanent constraints.

Last week I have been with Agata to a superb gig in Lisbon. The lineup was more than promising. Two of our favourite bands were scheduled to play that night, Blonde Redhead and Interpol. The performance was simply stunning, professional, skillful. Nobody felt bullshitted, I'm pretty sure.
